1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of StorageCalc (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site.
2. Nature of the Service
The Site provides editorial information and an interactive calculator that produces directional estimates of memory card capacity for photographers and videographers in the United States. The Site is not a memory card reseller, manufacturer, or warranty service. We do not sell, distribute, or stock memory cards.
Estimates produced by the calculator are based on average file sizes from published manufacturer data. They are not guarantees of actual storage capacity. Real-world results depend on scene content, ISO, camera firmware, and shooting conditions.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is greater), to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. Permitted Use
You may use the Site for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, servers, or related systems
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Site or its security features
- Scrape, harvest, or extract content using automated tools without prior written permission
- Reproduce, distribute, or republish substantial portions of the Site's content without permission
- Frame, mirror, or embed the calculator in another website without permission
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, calculator logic, design, layout, graphics, and software — is the property of StorageCalc or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view, print, and download content for personal, non-commercial reference. Any other use requires our prior written consent.
6. Third-Party Trademarks

References are made solely for editorial and informational purposes. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brand mentioned.
7. Editorial Independence
The Site's editorial content, including the retailer comparison list, is prepared independently. We do not accept payment for inclusion in the editorial comparison. The Site may, however, display third-party advertising through services such as Google AdSense, and these advertisements are clearly identifiable as such.
8. No Technical or Professional Advice
The Site does not provide professional technical advice, legal advice, or warranty service. The information and estimates provided are educational only. For specific technical guidance about your camera or memory card, contact the manufacturer directly.
9. Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep information on the Site accurate and current. However, we make no warranty or representation regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content, including calculator estimates, retailer information, or external links. Camera models, card capacities, and retailer offerings change frequently.
10. External Links
The Site contains links to third-party websites, including those of memory card retailers and manufacturers. These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site. Accessing third-party websites is at your own risk.

13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StorageCalc and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
14. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which describe how we collect, use, and protect information.
15. Modifications to the Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Revised Terms become effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the Site's operators are domiciled, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and StorageCalc regarding your use of the Site.
